Good News 

Recently a member of a NW group in Shooters Hill ward sent her coordinator a video of some suspicious activity that she managed to safely get footage of while not putting herself at risk.

This video was good quality, showed faces clearly, aswell as a crucial detail. It has now been submitted to the local police team via Shooters Hill PCSO Alfie. Many thanks to that member, and the coordinator, for their vigilance! 

Seen something suspicious or have a photo of something or someone? Please don't distribute it on socials. 

DO -  send it to your local coordinator who can advise what can be done from there. Hopefully it can be sent off to your local PCSO or PC - emails on MET engage HERE

Report, reduce and prevent domestic abuse during the World Cup - VAWG ( Violence Against Women and Girls ) 

Did you know that reports of domestic abuse increase by 38% when England lose a match? 

Even in the event of a win, there is still a 26% increase. Alcohol Concern Cymru has also pointed to evidence from police which shows a link between major sporting occasions, heavy drinking and a surge in reports of abuse.

Crimestoppers are encouraging everyone to call time on abuse, recognise the signs, and report anonymously.
